Rideau Lumber is pleased to provide a free Estimating service for both Residential and Commercial Projects.  Bring in your blueprints - we'll be happy to create a complete material take-off (including joist system, truss package or roof system, if desired) for your project.   As a homeowner, you can depend on us to walk you step-by-step through the homebuilding process.  As a contractor, we work with you to get the materials you need on site - on time, correct, and complete. 
 

			For smaller projects (eg. garages, decks, sheds), we have an automated computer program that enables us to quickly and easily give you a material list, cost, and diagram of the project (if applicable).
			Home Hardware is also pleased to offer Home and Cottage packages.  We already have the blueprints available for hundreds of home designs (bungalow, two-storey, split-level, cottages, etc.) -- all you have to do is select the home of your dreams!

Please consider and allow for at least two or three weeks lead time on major Project estimates.  This can extend to 4-5 weeks during a busy building season.  Also be aware that because our service is free, we will not be held responsible for errors or omissions, and all prices quoted are only held for 10 days, or as agreed when purchased.  Our quotes and/or estimates do not qualify as a Design under Bill 124.  The Contractor or Homeowner must provide verifications of compliance to Bill 124 as they apply for permits with their local Building Official.  Click here for a list of Drafting & Design firms and Engineers that are Bill 124 certified.
